Bansuri Restaurant

Our place is located on Cpr Bavda Road in Ward C of Kolhapur. We are right opposite the Jain Boarding which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The restaurant sits at Rs No 109 and it has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. We serve the kind of food that locals here expect, with plenty of spice and flavor. The mornings are spent getting the vegetables from the market and prepping the kitchen for the lunch rush. We have a mix of regular customers who come in every day and some students from the nearby boarding. It is a simple setup with basic furniture and not much in the way of decoration. We think the food should be the main thing anyway. The street outside can get quite busy with scooters and people walking to the hospital or the offices nearby. Our staff is small and we all do a bit of everything, from serving to cleaning up. It gets quite warm in the afternoons so we keep the fans going at full speed. We don't really have a big fancy menu, just the dishes we know how to make well. It is an honest local business and we just take things one day at a time. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the end of the evening if it has been a particularly busy day. That is just how it goes in a small kitchen.
