Abhuruchi Dinning

Our dining place is located in Shanivar Peth, right in the C Ward of Kolhapur. It's a busy part of town and we’ve been here at house number 2498 for a good while. We don't have a huge menu, just the regular meals that people in Kolhapur like to eat. The kitchen is small but we manage. We use metal plates mostly because they're easier to clean and last a long time. People come in, grab a seat, and we bring them whatever is fresh that day. It's a simple routine. The room isn't very big, so when it's full, it's quite cozy, or cramped depending on how you look at it. We have a few windows that look out onto the street. You can see the traffic and people walking by while you eat. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people find us because they live nearby or work in the shops around here. We start cooking early in the morning so lunch is ready on time. It's hard work being on your feet all day, but it's what we do. We don't try to be something we're not. It’s just a place to get a meal without spending too much money. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the dishes clattering, but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve been here for years and the neighborhood knows us well.
