Basera Pure Veg Restaurant

Basera Pure Veg Restaurant is my small place in Nagala Park, Kolhapur. We are situated right near Mahaveer College, so a lot of our customers are students who come in for a quick bite between their lectures. Since they are usually on a budget, we try to keep things affordable. We only serve vegetarian food because it’s simpler and easier to manage. I usually stay in the back to make sure the kitchen is running smoothly. It’s a family-run business, and you’ll often see my cousins or my brother helping out when we get a big rush. The dining area has basic tables and chairs, and we keep the walls a plain color. We don’t have a website or any of that modern stuff. Most people find us just by walking past on their way to the college or living in the Nagala Park area. The kitchen gets very hot during the summer months, but we have a few big fans to help. We open up early in the morning and don't close until the dinner crowd starts to thin out late at night. It involves a lot of standing and moving around, but it's the work we know. The neighborhood is generally quiet, which is nice, except for the noise of scooters near the college gates. It’s just a regular local eatery for the people who live and study around here.
