Sou. Ambubai Patil English Medium School & Science College

Over here at Sou. Ambubai Patil English Medium School & Science College, things stay pretty busy from the early morning. We are located in the Karveerkolhapur area of Kolhapur, right in Maharashtra 416003. It is a school but also has the science college part, so you get a mix of younger kids and the older students who are focusing on their science subjects. You can hear the kids playing during their recess and the older ones sitting under the trees talking about their upcoming practicals. The English medium part means most of the lessons are done that way, but outside the classrooms, you hear plenty of the local language too. It feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. The science labs have that specific smell of chemicals and old equipment, and the desks have marks from years of students sitting there. Parents often drop by to talk to the teachers or just to see how things are going. We don’t have those big fancy gates or a lot of security guards, it is just a normal school where people work hard. Kolhapur is a nice place to be, and our spot in Karveer is easy enough to find for anyone living nearby. It is just a place for learning where the bells ring on time and everyone knows each other by name after a few months. It’s simple and it works for the families around here.
