Sou Ambubai Patil English Medium School

We are located right in the Gokul Shirgaon Midc area of Kolhapur. Most of the folks around here know exactly where we are because we have been in this spot for quite a long time now. It is an English medium school, and we mostly get kids from the families who live and work in the nearby industrial zone. The building itself is pretty simple and functional. We spend our days dealing with the usual school stuff like morning assemblies, classroom lessons, and making sure the kids are doing their homework. It gets really busy in the mornings when the buses and vans arrive with the students. There is always a bit of noise from the factories nearby, but we are all used to it by now. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for a while. We have a small playground where the kids run around during their breaks. When it rains in Kolhapur, it really pours, so we have to make sure the kids stay dry and the building is holding up well. It is not a fancy place with lots of extra stuff, but it works for the families here. Parents often drop by to talk about their children or to settle some paperwork in the office. We just try to keep everything organized and make sure the students are learning what they need to for their exams. It is just a normal, busy school day for us most of the time.
