Prarthana Veg Restaurant

Our little place, Prarthana Veg Restaurant, is situated at 1398 C in the Laxmipuri area of Kolhapur. Most people find us pretty easily because we are right near the Parmai Cycle Company. That shop has been there forever, and we are just a few steps away. Laxmipuri is always full of people, especially on market days when the streets get really crowded with scooters and shoppers. We open up the doors early to get the vegetables chopped and the stove going. It is mostly just a simple vegetarian setup here. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a while now. The interior is pretty basic with plain walls and simple seating because the food is what we focus on most. We get a lot of workers coming in for lunch who just want something quick and filling before they head back to their jobs. It gets a bit steamy in the kitchen when we are busy, but we are used to the heat by now. The neighborhood is loud with the sounds of the city, but inside we just focus on the cooking and the service. We don’t do any of that fancy marketing stuff you see online these days. We just stay here at our address and do the daily work of running a restaurant in a busy part of Kolhapur. It keeps us on our toes every single day.
