Patlacha Wada

We are located over on Assembly Road in the Nagala Park area of Kolhapur. Being so close to the Collector Office means we see a lot of people coming and going for their paperwork and official business. The name of the place reflects a bit of the local style we try to keep up with. It's a decent-sized spot, and we put a lot of effort into making the space feel right for a meal with family or colleagues. Kolhapur is known for its food, and we just try to stay true to what people expect around here. We don’t use any complicated recipes. It’s all stuff we’ve learned over the years. The morning starts with getting the stoves lit and prepping the spices. Sometimes the rain in Nagala Park makes things a bit slow, but usually, we have a steady stream of customers. We’ve got a few tables outside and more inside. It’s not a corporate chain, just a local business run by people who live nearby. We like being part of this neighborhood. The streets here are a bit wider than in the old city, which is nice. We focus on serving the food hot and making sure the plates are clean. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it keeps us busy from morning till night. If you’re near the Collector Office, you’ll find us easily enough. We stay pretty busy most days.
