Palkhi Veg Restaurant

Palkhi Veg Restaurant is part of the Maratha Regency Hotel building. We are located at 205 A, on the E-Ward side of Tarabai Park Road. Kolhapur is a great city to be in, and Tarabai Park is a really nice area. It’s got a bit of a calmer vibe compared to some other parts of town like New Shahupuri. Being inside the hotel means we see a lot of travelers as well as people from right here in Kolhapur. We focus strictly on vegetarian food, which is why we have the name we do. The restaurant has been here for a while and we’ve become a part of the local landscape. We don't have any fancy corporate slogans. It's just us working in the kitchen and making sure the dining area is ready. The E-Ward area is quite active, so there is always someone coming or going. We do all the work ourselves, from managing the inventory to seeing the customers. It is a lot of responsibility but we enjoy the routine of it. We are not a massive franchise, just a local spot on Tarabai Park Road. We try to keep things simple and honest. If you are around the Maratha Regency, you can't miss us. We just keep doing what we do every day without much noise. That is how we like it.
