Kababiya Restaurant

Kababiya Restaurant is tucked away in Rajarampuri, Kolhapur. We are in Shop Number 7 of the Ashirwad Complex on 13th Lane. If you know where Raj Mandir Ice Cream Parloure is, we are right across from them. It’s a busy little street. Our restaurant isn't very big, but it’s enough for us. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. In Kolhapur - 416008, people really know their spices, so we try not to mess around with the recipes too much. We don’t have a fancy website or a big social media thing going on. It’s just a local shop. We spend most of our day prepping in the back and then serving whoever walks in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s clean and the stove works fine. We have a few regulars who come in almost every day, and we know their orders by heart now. It’s a simple life running a restaurant in a place like Rajarampuri. We don't have any big titles, everyone just helps out where they're needed. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when the lunch rush hits, but we manage. We just want to provide a place where people can eat without any fuss or high prices. That’s the way we’ve always done it here. We close up once we're done for the day and do it all again. It is what it is.
