Whenever there is a wedding or an event at Sai-raj hall, we get a lot of people wandering over. The shop itself is pretty straightforward. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that on the walls. It’s just a place to eat and go. We have been here for a bit now, and we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes the rain in Kolhapur makes things a bit messy outside on the road, but we keep the inside as tidy as we can. My cousin helps me out with the orders and we have a couple of boys in the kitchen. It’s not a big operation. We just wake up, open the shutters, and start the day. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected if there’s a big crowd from the hall. We don't spend money on posters or big signs. People just know where we are because they see us when they pass by Maharaja hotel. It’s a simple life running a food business here. We just try to get the work done and hope people like what we make. It’s just us here in Kadamwadi every day.
