Abhinav Academy

Abhinav Academy is another one of those spots on the Main Road in Vishrambag. Sangli has grown a lot, and this area especially is always moving. We are located in a place that’s easy to get to, which is good because students come from all over. The atmosphere inside is usually a bit serious, especially when exams are coming up, but we try to keep it friendly. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics like desks, benches, and some boards for writing. The walls are a simple color, and we haven’t really bothered with much decoration. We think the students are here to focus on their books anyway. Sometimes we stay late to finish up some paperwork or to help a student who is stuck on a problem. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our tea, and that’s often the highlight of the afternoon break. It’s a very local feel here. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the regular people who walk their dogs in the evening. Our routine is pretty set. We arrive, open the windows to let some air in, and get started with the day’s lessons. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels natural. We don't feel the need to be anything other than what we are—a simple place for local students to come and get some extra help.
