Deccan Institute Of Technology

We are located at the Deccan Institute Of Technology on the 3rd floor of the Cosmos Commercial Complex. This is right on Station Road in Kolhapur, very close to the Central Bus Stand in New Shahupuri. Having the bus stand right there means students from all the surrounding villages come in every morning. It's a typical commercial complex with a lot of other offices like ours. During the lunch break, the hallways can get a bit crowded when everyone comes out at once. We have been operating here for a good while. Basic equipment needed for technical training is what you will find in our rooms. Outside, there are no big flashy signs, just the one on the door so people know they have the right floor. It’s a practical setup for learning. Talking to students and fixing bits of machinery or computer software takes up most of our day. Even though it gets hot in the afternoons, the fans keep things moving enough to stay comfortable. We aren't a big university with a field or a gym; we are just a few floors in a city building. Finding us isn't hard at all because most people know the Cosmos complex. Fancy letters or brochures aren't things we spend much time on. Showing the students what they need to learn for their future jobs is more important. Life here in Kolhapur is simple, and we just keep the institute running day by day. We stay until the last student leaves.
