We are out here in Peth Vadgaon, which is a bit of a drive from the main Kolhapur city. The college building sits right where you’d expect, surrounded by some open space and the usual bustle of students coming and going. Most of the folks who work here live nearby or take the bus in every morning. It’s a pharmacy college, so you’ll mostly see people in white coats walking around the halls or carrying thick books. The labs have that specific smell of chemicals and glass, something you just get used to after a week or so. It’s not a fancy place, but it does what it needs to do. There is a small canteen nearby where everyone grabs tea during the breaks. Usually, the mornings are the busiest because of the lectures. In the afternoons, things slow down a little, especially when it’s hot outside. We have been here for a good while, and the locals know the spot well. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out while talking in the corridors. The library is tucked away in a corner, and it’s probably the quietest part of the whole campus. It’s mostly just a regular day-to-day routine of teaching and learning. People here are friendly enough, and there is always someone around to help if a student gets lost looking for a specific classroom or office. It just feels like a normal part of the Peth Vadgaon community.
