Desai School Of Nursing

We are located in the Vasundara Apartment building on Madavnagar Road. Being a nursing school, our days are quite different from a regular school. We have students who are learning how to take care of patients. The space we have in Sangli is used for classrooms and some practical areas where they can practice their skills. It’s not a massive medical campus, but it serves our purpose well. You’ll often see students in their white uniforms around the building. We spend a lot of time on practical lessons because that’s the most important part of nursing. The atmosphere is usually serious but we have our lighter moments too. The apartment building is easy to find if you’re coming from the main part of town. We have a small library with medical books that the students use for their studies. It can get a bit crowded in the hallways during break times. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the essentials for training nurses. Our staff is small but we’ve all been working together for a long time. We handle everything from admissions to exams right from our office here. It’s a focused environment. People in Sangli know us as a place where local students go to start their careers in healthcare. We just keep our heads down and do the work of training them as best as we can. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place.
