Aaryavart Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of the Behara area in Behjam, Lakhimpur. We operate through the address of Shakil Khan near the Pahara post office. This is a very rural part of the country, and that is exactly where we need to be. We are a farmer producer company, so we are all about the people who work the land in Lakhimpur. The name Aaryavart is just what we decided to call it. We don't have a fancy suite of offices. We mostly meet in the village or at the post office location. Shakil Khan’s place is the hub for all our paperwork and coordination. Lakhimpur is known for its agriculture, so there is always something to do. We spend our time helping farmers get their produce to the right places and trying to get better prices for everyone. It is not an easy life. The roads can be bad and the weather is always a gamble. We just take it one day at a time. We are just a group of locals trying to help each other out. There isn't any big corporate strategy here. We just talk, decide what needs to be done, and then try to do it. It is a simple way of living and working. We are from this area and work with the people we've known our whole lives. We keep the books in a small room and hope the crops do well each season. It’s just us doing our thing.
