Khadarahiya Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Lakharawa Bijuva in Lakhimpur Kheri. You can find us at the home of Pushpa Devi and her husband Virendra Bushan. They have been kind enough to let us use their space for our operations. It’s a busy place with people coming and going all the time. We are all farmers from this area, and we know how tough it can be to get a fair price for your hard work. We started this company because we wanted a way to manage our harvests better without having to rely on middle men who take too much. We deal with a lot of different crops depending on the season. It isn't always easy and there are plenty of days where we feel like we are just fighting with the mud or the heat. But having the group makes it feel a bit more manageable. We share tips on fertilizers and try to get better deals on tools. It’s a very local thing. We know everyone’s kids and who is having trouble with their well. We don't have a big marketing budget or any of that stuff. Most people find out about us just by stopping by and having a tea with us. We are just practical people trying to keep our heritage alive while making a living from the land. That's really all there is to it, nothing more and nothing less.
