Lakhimpur Kheri is a big area, and there’s a lot of agriculture going on here. We started this because we felt that local farmers needed a way to stand together. It's easy to get lost when you’re just one small farmer in such a large district. We named it Hamara Lakhimpur because this is our home and we are proud of it. We grow things like sugarcane and grains, depending on the season. It’s not just a job for us; it’s how our families have lived for as long as anyone can remember. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the books and meet. We talk about real things like the cost of renting a tractor or how to get better yields without spending too much. Everyone chips in with what they know. Sometimes things go wrong, like a bad storm or a pest outbreak, and that’s when being part of a group really matters. You don't feel so alone when things are tough. We are just trying to make a decent living from the ground. We don't have any big secrets or complex plans.
