Paliakalan Fed Kisan Producer Company Limited is located in Parseya, which is part of the Palia area in Lakhmipur. We use Lal Bahadur’s place for our office work, though "office" might be a bit of a strong word for it. It’s more like a room where we keep our files and meet when the weather is bad. Being in Lakhmipur, we deal with a lot of different crops depending on the time of year. The farmers around here are hardworking people who don't have time for nonsense. We started this company to help coordinate things between the different growers in Parseya. It’s a lot of running around, honestly. One day you’re checking on a tractor and the next you’re trying to find better seeds. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. The roads can be a bit rough getting out here, and the phone signal isn't always the best, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time just talking to each other about what’s working in the fields and what isn't. There’s a lot of trial and error involved in farming, and we’ve had our share of mistakes over the years. We just keep at it because that’s what you do. It’s a community thing more than a business thing, really. We’re just local people trying to get by and keep the farms running as best we can.
