Pizzicato

We started Pizzicato here in Karnal at Sco 11 in the Club Market area. It's right near the Karnal Club, so we get a lot of people walking over from there. The kitchen gets really warm in the afternoons when the ovens are going full blast. We spend most of our time prepping the dough and chopping up vegetables. Sometimes the delivery guys are standing around waiting for orders while we scramble to get the cheese just right. It’s not a huge place but it gets the job done for the neighborhood. We see the same faces every week, mostly families from around here who just want a quick bite without making a fuss. The floor gets a bit dusty from all the foot traffic in the market, so we’re always sweeping. It’s a bit of a routine now, getting the supplies in early and making sure the fridge is stocked. We don't have a big fancy office or anything, just a small counter and some tables. Most days it’s just us trying to keep up with the tickets coming out of the machine. The traffic outside can be a bit much during the evenings but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been at this spot for a while and most people know where to find us if they’re hungry. It's just a regular local spot where we try to keep the food coming out hot and the drinks cold.
