Deghi Veg & Non Veg

You can find us at Deghi Veg & Non Veg on the ground floor of the Gopi Nath building. We are right on Old G.T. Road in Karnal. It’s a busy spot because the bus stand is right nearby, so there are always people moving around. We serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes because that’s what people around here want. Some days the veg side is more popular, other days everyone wants meat. We don't really have a preference, we just cook what’s on the menu. The building is an old one, but it works for us. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of travelers as well as locals who live in Karnal. It gets loud outside with the traffic on G T Road, but inside we are just focused on the kitchen. We’ve been here for a bit now. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren't all related. We keep the place clean and just get on with the cooking. We don't have any fancy signs or big lights. Just the name on the front and the food inside. It’s a basic setup but it works for what we do. We open up early and stay till late evening usually. Sometimes we run out of things if a big bus group comes in, but we try to keep the pots full. It's just a regular local eating house on the main road. The work is steady and it keeps us out of trouble.
