Manga Halwai & Punjabi Dhaba

We are located at Ward Number 15 in Karnal, right near the bus stand. If you look for the water tank, you will find us pretty easily. We do two things here: we have the halwai side for sweets and the dhaba side for regular meals. It is a basic Punjabi dhaba. We don't have air conditioning or fancy decorations. There are just sturdy tables and a kitchen that stays busy from early morning until late at night. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of people who are just passing through town. They are usually tired and hungry, so we try to get the food out fast. We don't have a corporate head office or a brand manager. It’s just us running the place. We make our own sweets in the halwai section, and the smells from the kitchen usually drift out toward the street. The floor is concrete and the walls are plain. We don't really think about customer experience in a fancy way; we just make sure people have a place to sit and eat their dal or rotis. It’s a lot of hard work, especially dealing with the heat and the crowds, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Karnal for a long time, and we like being near the water tank because everyone knows the landmark. It’s an honest, local spot where we just keep the stove burning and the sweets ready.
