VJS Restaurant

VJS Restaurant is located at 9/2, Allen Ganj, right near the Pushp Honda Show Room in Kanpur. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now. Allen Ganj is a busy neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside our door. The noise from the showroom and the traffic on the main road is just something we’ve gotten used to over the years. Our place is quite small, with just enough room for a few tables and some basic kitchen equipment. We don't have a professional decorator or anyone like that; we just put up what we thought looked okay. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers running the whole show. We wake up early to get the kitchen ready and stay open until the dinner rush dies down. The food is just basic Indian meals that we would eat at our own homes. We don't use any fancy techniques or strange ingredients. Sometimes the sink leaks a little or the paint on the walls looks a bit dull, but we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can for anyone who stops by. We have a lot of regulars who work in the nearby shops and come in for the same thing every single day. We don't really do much advertising because people around Allen Ganj already know where we are and what we do. It’s just a simple life for us here in Kanpur.
