Antarang is located inside the Rave-3 Multiplex on Parvati Bagla Road in Kanpur. It’s a busy spot because of the movies and the other shops in the building. Our address is Plot No.11, Block No.6, so we are right in the middle of all the action. Most of the time, our schedule follows whatever is playing on the screens nearby. When a big movie lets out, we get a sudden rush of people, and then it goes quiet again for a few hours. We’ve been operating out of this multiplex for some time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The staff knows the layout of the mall like the back of our hands. We spend a lot of time just making sure everything is in its place before the evening crowd arrives. It’s a very practical kind of work. We aren't a big corporation; we are just the group of people who keep this specific spot running every day. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall is too cold, or the music from the lobby is too loud, but we just deal with it as it comes. We don't go in for fancy talk or trying to sound like something we aren't. We provide a space for people to sit and take a break while they are out at the mall. It’s a simple setup on Parvati Bagla Road, and we are just here doing our daily tasks and greeting the regulars. (259 words)
