Desi Bytes Restaurant

Desi Bytes Restaurant is located inside the Hotel Mandakini Royal building at 127/W-1 in Nirala Nagar. We are pretty close to the Deep Cinema and Saket Nagar area. It’s a busy spot in Kanpur, and there’s always something going on outside on the street. We’ve been serving food here for some time now. People from the hotel come down to eat, but we also get a lot of locals who just want a regular meal. The kitchen stays busy from morning until late at night. We don't have a fancy decor or anything like that. The tables and chairs are simple, and we focus more on what’s coming out of the pots. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour when everyone is on break, so you might have to wait a little for a seat. We don't use a lot of complicated ingredients, just the stuff we find in the local markets nearby. Our staff is small, and we’ve all been working together for a while. We know which dishes people like the most and try to keep those ready. The noise from the traffic near Nirala Nagar can be heard sometimes, but inside, we just keep the fans going and the food moving. It’s a straightforward place to get something to eat without having to worry about being too formal or dressing up. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cooking every day.
