AL Falah Restaurant and Bakery

AL Falah Restaurant and Bakery is over in the Jajmau area of Kanpur. Our address is 233/3, Taad Bagia Road, and we are right opposite the Nagar Nigam Office. Having the government office right there means we get a lot of people coming in during their lunch breaks. The bakery side of things starts very early in the morning when the sun is barely up. You can usually smell the fresh bread and biscuits from down the street. Jajmau is an old, busy part of Kanpur, and Taad Bagia Road is usually full of rickshaws and motorbikes. The restaurant part of the business picks up later in the afternoon. It is a lot of work running both a bakery and a restaurant in one spot. We are always busy with something, whether it is bagging up buns or serving plates of food. The floor is usually covered in a bit of flour, and the ovens make the whole place feel like a sauna in the summer months. We have some regulars who have been coming here since we first started. We don't have a fancy website or anything. If people want to eat or buy bread, they just walk in. It is a simple, hardworking life here in JK Colony. We just try to keep the shelves full and the customers fed.
