RAJPOOT DHABA

Our dhaba is right on the NH 86 hamirpur road in Kanpur. We’re located in the Chatrapal market area, specifically inside the Rajpoot Bhawan building. If you’re driving toward Ramaipur, you’ll see us right opposite the BPRN Bharat petroleum station. It’s a busy road with a lot of dust and noise from the heavy trucks passing through day and night. We started this place because it’s a good spot for travelers to stop for a bit. The building is just a regular one and we haven't done much to the outside to make it look fancy. Inside, we have basic seating for whoever walks in. Usually, it's long-distance drivers or people living in the Aoundha post area. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. The kitchen is always hot and we keep ourselves busy with the daily chores of cleaning and cooking. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoons, but we just keep going with what we have. It’s not a fancy restaurant with air conditioning, just a place with some fans and open doors to let the air in. People know us because we’ve been here in Ramaipur for a while. We don't do any social media or stuff like that. We just open up the doors and wait for the day to start. It’s hard work being on the highway but it pays the bills and keeps us occupied.
