Mr. Chief Restaurant

Mr. Chief Restaurant is located at 2/2, Block No-1 on the Govind Nagar Main Road in Kanpur. We are situated right near the lane that leads down to the Durga Mandir. It is a very local spot and we see a lot of the same neighbors coming in every single day. The road outside is usually quite busy with scooters and cars constantly honking. Our place is not very big, but we have enough room for local families to sit and have a meal together. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping all the vegetables and getting things ready before the big lunch rush starts. It can get pretty hectic in there when the orders start coming in all at once from different tables. We don't have a corporate office or a big manager, it's just us running the whole show every day. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish by the evening, but that's just how it goes when you try to cook everything fresh. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon but we are more focused on the cooking than the decor. People in Govind Nagar know exactly where we are. We don't try to be anything we're not. It is just a basic restaurant where you can get a meal without spending too much money. We work long hours but it feels good to see the place full of people. It is a simple life and we just keep at it.
