Kidhmat

Kidhmat is located inside the Hotel J S Continental over in Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur. You can find us in the same building as the ICICI bank, which makes it easy for people to pinpoint where we are. Being inside a hotel means we have a mix of people staying upstairs and locals who just walk in from the street. The atmosphere is pretty steady, though it picks up a lot in the evenings when people are looking for dinner. We don't have a big fancy entrance of our own, just the one through the hotel. In the kitchen, we keep things moving with the usual prep work like chopping vegetables and getting the spices ready. The staff wears regular uniforms and we just try to get the orders right. It is a bit more quiet here than the restaurants right on the main road, which is nice sometimes. We have some regular customers from the bank and other offices nearby who come in for their lunch break. We don't go in for all that marketing talk about being the best. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the tables are wiped down properly. The space is comfortable enough for a meal without being too over the top. It’s just a standard part of the hotel where we work hard every day.
