We’ve been set up at 59/39 on Birhana Road for a long time now. If you know this area, you know it’s a hub for people looking for jewelry and gold. Our shop is a straightforward place where we keep our collections in glass cases and talk to people across the counter. It’s not one of those ultra-modern boutiques; it feels more like a traditional family business where we know many of our customers by name. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and making sure everything is polished and ready to show. People come in for all sorts of reasons—weddings, gifts, or just to fix something that’s broken. We do our own work here, and you can often hear the sound of small tools in the back. Birhana Road is always crowded, and the noise from the street definitely drifts inside, but we don't mind it much. It’s just part of being in this part of the city. We don't use fancy scripts when we talk to people; we just show them what we have and tell them the price. It’s an honest way to do things, and it’s how we’ve always operated. Some days we are very busy with families coming in together, and other days it’s just a few people looking for something small. We just take it as it comes. There is always a lot of history in these walls and we are proud of the work we do here, even if it gets a bit hectic.
