Jee Sahab Restaurant

Jee Sahab Restaurant is tucked into the H-1 Shopping Complex in Vijay Nagar. We’ve been in this part of Kanpur for quite some time now. Most of our customers are people who live right here in the neighborhood or come to the complex for their daily shopping. It’s not a very big shop, just a cozy space where you can get a meal without much fuss. Being in the 208005 zip code area, we are part of the local scene. You can usually hear the noise from the market while you eat. We don’t have any fancy signs or big lights. It’s just the name on the door and the smell of cooking coming from the back. The tables are the sturdy kind because we get a lot of kids and families coming in after school. Running a place like this in Vijay Nagar means you get to know the neighbors. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage with what we have, but that’s just how things go here. We aren’t trying to be the most modern place in Kanpur. We just want to serve food and keep the place running. It’s a lot of cleaning and prep work every morning before the first customer walks in. We do our own shopping for the kitchen and keep an eye on everything ourselves to make sure things are done right. It's just a regular neighborhood spot for anyone who is hungry.
