Hot n crispy

You can find us over in Lal Bangla, specifically at 517-c-5 in the Kazi Khera area of Harjindar Nagar. It is right in the main market, so it gets pretty loud and crowded outside most days. Being near Brijwasi sweets helps people find us because that is a landmark everyone in Kanpur knows. We mostly do snacks and things that are, well, hot and crispy like the name says. The shop isn't huge but we make it work with the space we have. Lal Bangla is the kind of place where people are always out shopping or running errands, so they stop by when they get hungry. We have been here for a bit now and seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Some days are slower than others, especially when it rains and the streets get messy, but usually, the evening rush is fairly steady. We just fry things up as the orders come in. It is not a place for a fancy sit-down dinner, more like a spot to grab something on your way home or while you are out with friends. We try to keep things clean and the oil fresh. It is just a basic neighborhood shop run by people who live nearby. Kanpur food is all about the taste anyway, not the presentation. We just open up the shutters every day and get to work.
