Highway Restaurant

Highway Restaurant is located on the top floor of a building on GT Road in Kanpur, right near the IIT Gate. Since we are so close to the IIT campus, we get a lot of students and professors coming in for a meal. It’s a busy area with a lot of movement on the GT Road. Being on the top floor gives a bit of a view of the street below, which is always full of cycles, cars, and trucks. The place isn't very large, but we’ve got enough tables for the lunch and dinner rush. We’ve been here at Plot no. 93 D for some time now. It’s a simple setup, nothing too flashy or decorated. We just serve regular food that people like. The kitchen is always busy, especially in the evenings when the students are finally out of their classes. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when every single table is full, but we do our best to keep up. It’s a local spot where you can just sit and eat without any fuss. No one here is trying to win any awards; we just want to make sure the food is hot and people are fed. If you are walking near the IIT Gate, you’ll see our building. It’s a handy place for a quick bite or a long talk with friends over some food. We keep things plain and focused on the daily routine.
