G.T.Darbar

G.T.Darbar is situated right on G.T. Road, specifically near Shiv Katra Road in Kanpur. We are quite close to the Kesa37 P.A.C, so a lot of people use that as a point of reference to find us. This area of Kanpur is always moving, and being on such a major road means we see all sorts of people coming through our doors. We’ve set up this place to be a straightforward spot for a meal. It’s not one of those fancy places where you feel like you have to dress up or act a certain way. We just want you to come in, sit down, and enjoy your food. The kitchen is always busy, and you can usually hear the sounds of pots and pans from the dining area. We try to keep the place clean and the water glasses filled. It’s a lot of work keeping a restaurant going on such a busy street, but we’ve got a good routine down now. Some days are slower than others, but we usually have a group of regulars who stop by and keep us busy. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. If someone likes the food, they tell their family, and that’s how we keep going. It’s a very local feel here. We’re just regular people serving food to our neighbors and the travelers. It’s simple, it’s honest, and it’s what we do every day without fail.
