Fantacy Restaurant

You can find us at 111/149 in Harsh Nagar, right near Kanika Hospital. Being so close to a hospital means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just stopping by for a quick bite while they wait for news, and others are regulars from the local neighborhood. Kanpur is a city that never really seems to get any quieter, and Harsh Nagar is no exception. There’s always a car horn or a scooter zooming by outside. Our restaurant isn't very big, and the layout is a bit tight, especially when we get a full house. We have some old posters on the walls and the floor is a bit worn down in the spots where people walk the most. I usually sit at the front desk, but I’m often in the back helping the cooks when it gets crazy. We don't have a fancy menu with photos, just a list of what we make. The kitchen gets incredibly hot in the summer, and we all just try to stay cool with a big desert cooler near the door. We’ve had the same staff for a few years now, so we have a good rhythm. It’s not a perfect place, and sometimes we forget to change a lightbulb right away, but we keep the place running. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the cleaning and the dishes, but that’s just part of the job every day.
