Family Treat Restaurant

We are located near the Muraay Company Bridge in the Kanpur Cantt area. It’s an old part of the city, and the vibe around here is different from the newer malls. There’s a lot of history in these streets, but mostly we just notice the traffic going over the bridge. The building is older, with high ceilings that help a bit with the Kanpur heat in the summer. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed around us. Some of the old shops closed and new ones opened, but we’re still here. Mornings are spent prepping everything for the lunch crowd. The staff usually arrives around eight, and we start with the tea while we plan the day. It’s not a very big place, but we have enough room for families to sit together comfortably. Sometimes the rain causes a bit of trouble with the roof, so we’re always keeping an eye on that. We don’t use any fancy technology, just a notepad and a pen for the orders. It works fine for us. People come in from the Cantt area, mostly folks who live nearby or work in the local offices. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It makes the place feel more like a home than a business. It’s a lot of long hours, but we’re used to it by now. We just try to keep the food hot.
