The Himalayan Heritage School

We're located right here in Daslehra Village. It’s a quiet spot in Jhandutta Tehsil, not far from the Baba Balak Nath Mandir. People in Bilaspur District know the area well. The Himalayan Heritage School has been part of this community for a while now. We just handle the day-to-day work of running a school in this part of the world. It’s a lot of activity every morning when the kids start arriving. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see the parents at the local shops or near the temple. The hills around here keep things cool, which is nice during the summer months. We don't have fancy office buildings or anything like that. It's just classrooms and a place for children to learn. Sometimes the goats from the village wander near the gate. We keep the gates shut, of course. It gets busy during drop-off and pick-up times, especially with the temple traffic nearby. We focus on getting the basics right for the students who come from the surrounding villages. There isn't much noise except for the kids playing during their breaks. We just try to keep things organized and make sure everyone gets where they need to be on time. Living and working in Daslehra is simple. We know most of the families by name since it's a small place. The school is just a part of the landscape here.
