Bharat Model Public School

We are located right on MDR45 in Gharoh, which is a bit of a distance from the main hub of Dharamshala. This school is a simple place, built to serve the families in this specific area. You won’t find any big glass buildings here, just solid walls and a few classrooms. The yard out front is where the kids spend most of their time during breaks. It’s often a bit dusty in the summer and muddy when the rains come. We have a small staff who have been with us for years, mostly local people themselves. The school day starts early, and you can see the students walking along the road in their uniforms from quite a distance. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have benches, tables, and the usual school supplies scattered around. There’s always someone forgetting their notebook or losing a pen. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a place for learning. The noise of the traffic from MDR45 is always in the background, but we get used to it. Sometimes we have to fix a leak in the roof or repaint a wall when it gets too scruffy. It’s a working school for regular kids from the village and nearby. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the lessons get done every day.
