Suryodaya Public School

Suryodaya Public School is located up in Tehsil Baroh, and our post office is Saddun Bargran. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here, but the air is much fresher than it is down in the bigger towns. The school building is simple and sits on a bit of a slope. We have a small playground that’s mostly just flat ground where the kids play football or tag during their breaks. Because we are in a more rural area, things move a bit slower. We start the day with a simple assembly in the yard. The classrooms are basic, with wooden benches that have been used by many students over the years. We don’t have much technology, so we rely on books and what the teachers write on the boards. Sometimes, if the weather is bad, the mountain roads get a bit tricky, and a few students might show up late, but we don’t mind too much. We know most of the families in the area, as many of them have been sending their kids here for generations. The office is just a corner of one of the main rooms where we keep the registers and some basic supplies. It’s a quiet place to learn, away from the noise of the city. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure everything is ready for the next day. It’s a plain, hardworking school for the local community.
