Army Public School

We have been at Yol Cantt for a while now, right near the State Bank of India. If you know Piru Singh Chowk in Dharamshala, you know exactly where we are located. It is a busy spot in Kangra but it feels like home to us. Our school, Army Public School, is just a regular place where we try to help the local kids get through their books and exams without too much fuss. Most mornings start with the sound of the traffic around the chowk and the bank. It is not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. We have our classrooms and the playgrounds where the noise never really stops until the final bell rings in the afternoon. People in the neighborhood know us by name and we know most of the families around here too. Dealing with the weather in Dharamshala can be tricky sometimes, especially when it rains hard or the wind picks up, but we make it work. We are just a group of people working together to keep the school running day after day. There is always something to fix or a desk that needs moving, but that is just how it is. We do not try to be something we are not. We are just here on the road near the bank, doing what we do for the community. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the kids running around and the bells ringing, but that is part of the life here. We just try to keep things moving along for everyone involved.
