Green Cafe Restaurant

So we are located right near the DPS Circle on the Pal By Pass here in Jodhpur. It is a busy spot because of all the traffic coming through the bypass every single day. We opened Green Cafe Restaurant because we saw there weren't many places around here where someone could just sit down and have a decent meal without it being a whole big thing. The sun gets really hot out here in Rajasthan, as everyone knows, so we try to keep the inside as cool as we can for anyone walking in off the road. It’s not a huge place, just a few tables and chairs. We usually start things up early in the morning, getting the kitchen ready before the first rush of people heading to work or school. You see a lot of different faces here, some regulars who live nearby and then travelers who are just passing through Jodhpur on their way somewhere else. We don't have a fancy menu with a thousand things on it, just stuff we know how to make well. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but for now, it works fine. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the dust because the road is so close. Sometimes it gets loud with the trucks going by, but you get used to it after a while. We are just here doing our thing every day, making sure the food is ready when people are hungry.
