Naaz Stone

You can find Naaz Stone at Plot No. 26 and 27 in the Roop Nagar Colony. We are right near the Roop Nagar Public School, so every afternoon the street gets filled with kids in their uniforms and parents on scooters. It is a bit chaotic for an hour or so, but otherwise, it is a decent spot to work. Our plots are mostly open space where we keep the stone piles. We don't have a fancy office building, just a small cabin where we keep the ledger and the phone. The work is mostly about moving heavy things from one pile to another and making sure the customers get what they asked for. We get a lot of dust from the school buses and the wind, so everything stays a bit gritty. It is just me and a couple of helpers most days. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when the sun is at its highest. People from the colony often stop by just because they are walking their dogs or going to the shop. We know most of the faces around here by now. The stone we handle is heavy and rough, and our hands show it. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty. It’s a stone yard, and it looks like one. We just focus on getting the slabs cut and loaded so we can go home when the sun sets and the neighborhood finally gets quiet.
