Banas Stone Enterprises

Our business, Banas Stone Enterprises, is located over at 1-h-12 in Jhalawar. It’s a straightforward setup. We deal with the stones that are common in this region. Jhalawar has a lot of stone activity, so we’re right in the middle of it. Our days are spent checking the quality of the blocks and slabs that come through our yard. It’s a lot of standing around in the sun and making sure the measurements are right for each customer. We don't have a big corporate office; mostly just a small place to sit and some space for the stone. People around here know us for being around for a while. We don't go in for big advertisements. We just focus on the work itself. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to look at new stock at the quarries nearby. It’s a lot of physical checking and double-checking of the materials. The stone business is tough on the body, but it’s what we know how to do. We have a few guys who help with the loading and unloading of the heavy trucks. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a batch of stone isn't great, we say so. That’s just how we operate at 1-h-12. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the stones as they come in and go out to customers.
