Choudhary Stone Industries

Our business is located in the 3rd Phase of the Riico Industrial Area in Madanganj. If you know this area, you know it is the heart of the marble trade. There are hundreds of units around here, but we have our own spot where we’ve been for years. It is a loud place with all the factories running. There is always the sound of saws cutting through stone. We mostly handle large blocks that come from the quarries. We process them into slabs of different thicknesses. Our yard is usually white from all the marble dust. It gets on your clothes and your shoes, but that is part of the job. We deal with a lot of wholesalers and big construction projects. But we also have people coming in who just want enough for one room. We don’t have a fancy office. We have a small room with a fan where we sit and talk to customers. We show them the different grades of stone. Some have more veins, some are plain. We just show them what is available in the yard at that moment. The 3rd Phase is a bit of a maze, but people find us eventually. We work long hours, especially when there is a big order to get out. It is a tough industry but we have been in it long enough to know the ins and outs. We just take each day as it comes and try to get the orders loaded onto the trucks properly.
