Acc Limited

This branch is over in Chaibasa, in the West Singbhum area. It is a rugged part of the country, and the landscape is full of hills and red earth. We have been part of the landscape here for a long time now. The plant is a big operation, with conveyors and silos that you can see from a good distance away. It is a bit of a journey to get out here, but this is where the raw materials are. We have a lot of people from the local villages working with us. The shift changes are the busiest times of the day, with people coming and going on their bikes or walking. It is a noisy place, always a hum in the air from the crushers. We deal with a lot of dust, just like any cement place. We do not spend much time in offices; most of the work happens on the floor or out in the yard. We have a canteen where everyone grabs a bite and talks about the latest gossip or the cricket scores. It is a community feel, even if the work is hard and dirty. We have seen the town grow and the roads get a bit better over the years, but the work itself stays pretty much the same. We just keep the cement moving to where it needs to go for the local builders.
