Shree Shyam Traders

Shree Shyam Traders is located at Holding No. 1 in Mawandiya Mansion. We are right in the middle of the Burma Mines Market. If you’re looking for us, we are right beside the Axis Bank ATM, so there is always a line of people standing outside our door waiting to withdraw cash. It makes the front of the shop very lively. The market itself is a busy place with lots of trucks and carts moving around all day long. We get a lot of dust from the road, but that’s just life in the market. Mawandiya Mansion is a well-known building around here, so we never have to give people long directions. We just tell them to head to the ATM. Our space is filled with whatever we are trading at the moment, so things can get a bit crowded. There isn’t much room to walk around sometimes, but we manage. We’ve got a small desk in the back where we keep the books and take our lunch breaks. Most of the time, the door is wide open to let the air in, even if the noise from the market comes in with it. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often swap stories over a cup of chai in the afternoon. It’s a hardworking environment, and we wouldn’t have it any other way in this part of town.
