Lafarge

We are based in Jamshedpur, specifically at 343 Vijaya Gardens. It is right besides the Ramini Flats in the Baridih area. This part of Jharkhand is pretty well known. The office is in a residential-style neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than the industrial zones. We have been here for a while. It’s just a standard setup for us at Lafarge. We don't go in for anything too decorative. The address is easy enough to find once you get into Baridih. We have a small staff here. We mostly just focus on the local operations and making sure our records are straight. It’s a lot of routine stuff, honestly. We have our coffee in the morning and get through the tasks. Sometimes the neighbors come by to say hello. It feels more like a community than a business district. The 343 number is our spot. We have enough room for what we need. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. It’s a simple way of working. Most of us have been with the company for years, so we know the drill. It’s just a regular office in a nice part of town. There's no pressure to be something we aren't. We just show up, do our jobs, and go home to our families in the evening. It is a steady way to live.
