A.C.C Cement

Our branch of A.C.C Cement is located in the A.C.C Colony at Quarter Number S.R.T-166, in the Mansarover area. This is part of the West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand. The address can be a bit confusing because there are so many similar quarters, but we are at 166. Life in a cement colony is quite different from the city. Everything revolves around the factory shifts. Our office is a simple setup within the residential block, which makes it easy to walk to work. We deal with the administrative side of the cement business. There is a lot of paperwork involving logistics and distribution across the state. The walls are painted a standard office color, and we have stacks of files everywhere. It gets quite busy during the peak season when demand for cement goes up. We often have tea together in the afternoons while we go through the reports. The road outside is often used by heavy trucks, so there is a constant rumble in the background. We don't have any flashy signs or marketing posters on the walls. It’s just a place where we do our jobs. People in the colony know each other well, so work feels like a part of the community. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the cement reaches where it needs to go.
