Our office is over in Ganesh Apartment, right on Mandir Path. If you know Bhatia Basti, you know it can get a bit crowded around here. We’re in 4B. It’s not a huge space, but it works for what we do. We handle the local distribution and logistics for the company. Most days start early with a lot of phone calls. Jamshedpur is a steel town, so everyone is always building something. We keep track of the bags moving out and the trucks coming in from the plants. The stairs in the apartment building are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy stuff up is a pain. We usually just stick to the office work though. It’s mostly just us and a few computers and piles of ledgers. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait or talk. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. People around here know where we are. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. Just a regular bunch of guys doing a job. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up for breaks. It’s just the usual daily grind. Nothing too exciting happens, but we stay busy enough. We make sure the paperwork is right so the construction sites don’t have to wait. That’s about it really. Just a local office in a busy part of town.
