Shreyas School

Shreyas School is located in Miraj, which is a small area in Jamnagar. We are right there in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so we are very much a part of the local daily life. The school isn't some massive institution; it’s a modest building where we’ve been teaching local kids for quite some time. In the mornings, you can see parents dropping off their children on scooters or kids walking together in their uniforms. The playground isn't very big, but it’s enough for the students to run around during their short break. We have a few trees that provide a bit of green in the dusty Jamnagar heat. The classrooms are basic, with old-fashioned wooden desks and windows that look out onto the street. You can often hear the sounds of the neighborhood—dogs barking or someone selling vegetables—while the classes are going on. It’s not a quiet place, but it feels like home to those of us who work here. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or try to look bigger than we are. We are just a local school trying to keep things running smoothly for the families in Miraj. Most of our teachers have been here for years and know all the students by name. It’s a very simple, grounded way of doing things, and we prefer it that way.
