Shri Madhyamik Shala

If you head out towards Mota Asota near Jamnagar, you’ll find us. We are specifically located at number 40, out by Khambhalia. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so things are a lot quieter out here. Shri Madhyamik Shala is a secondary school that serves the families in this rural area. Most of the kids come from the surrounding farms and small houses nearby. Life moves at a different pace in this part of Jamnagar. We don't have the big city noise, just the sound of the wind and the students talking during their breaks. The building is simple and serves its purpose well. We have a few classrooms and a small area for the staff to gather. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else. If a student is missing, we usually know why before the parents even call. We focus on the middle school and high school years, which are important for the kids around here. There’s a lot of hard work involved, especially when it’s harvest time and things get busy at home for the families. But we stay open and keep the lessons going. It is just a plain, honest school in a quiet corner of the district. We’ve been here for the long haul, helping one generation after another get through their basic education without any fancy bells or whistles in Mota Asota.
